Project Manager – Commercial Solar & Energy Projects Location: UK (Site-based with travel) Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + company car/allowance + benefits The Opportunity A growing renewable energy contractor is seeking a Project Manager to deliver commercial solar PV, battery storage and energy projects across the UK. You’ll manage the full lifecycle from development through to commissioning, working across complex commercial and public-sector environments. Key Responsibilities * Manage projects from concept through to completion * Coordinate design, engineering and construction teams * Review technical drawings and ensure buildability * Oversee planning and grid connection applications (G99) * Manage contractors, suppliers and site operations * Monitor programme, quality and health & safety * Resolve issues to maintain timelines and delivery * Ensure compliance with CDM and industry standards * Build strong client and stakeholder relationships * Provide clear reporting on progress and performance * Oversee commissioning, testing and project handover About You * Experience delivering commercial solar or renewable energy projects in the UK * Strong understanding of construction and site delivery * Knowledge of DNO/grid connection processes * Experience working in regulated or live environments * Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Strong communication and organisational skills Desirable * Electrical background or technical qualification * Knowledge of RC62 / ENA guidance * Experience with solar monitoring systems What’s on Offer * £50,000 – £60,000 salary * Company car or allowance * Pension * 20 days holiday + bank holidays
