The role Senior Estimator Painting & Decorating will involve:
Estimator position dealing with a range of commercial painting & decorating projects
Lead end-to-end tendering process, including take-offs, pricing, submission, and handover.
Prepare accurate cost estimates using drawings, specifications, and estimating software.
Manage and track tender opportunities within CRM, ensuring timely follow-ups to maximise conversions.
Engage with clients and contractors through site visits, technical input, and value engineering to support bids. xwzovoh
Collaborate with internal teams, lead handovers, and mentor junior estimators to strengthen delivery and capability.
Working on project sizes varying in size from £4k to £4m
The ideal applicant will be a Senior Estimator Painting & Decorating with:
Must have Estimating experience within one or more of the following; decorating, and /or painting sectors
Preferably coming from a sub-contractor background with commercial project experience
Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
Highly organised with good attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
Full UK driving license
