Electrician

We are working with a reputable client based in Ashford (TN24) who require an Electrician to join their team. The position is a permanent role paying £200 - £250 per day (DOE). Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 7.00am - 5.00pm Holidays: 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) (Company vehicle + fuel card provided) The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as an Electrician Key Responsibilities: * Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in line with technical specifications and safety regulations * Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems * Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate tools and testing equipment * Repair or replace defective wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and other components * Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and health & safety standards * Accurately document completed work and report system conditions to management * Support the planning and delivery of electrical projects as required Key Requirements: * Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding * Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment for electrical tasks * Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings * Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent) * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team * Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail * Full UK driving licence preferred; willingness to travel between sites as needed If you are interested in the role or would like further information, please apply with an updated CV
