Maintenance Engineer Salary: £48,000 + 6% Pension+ Private Health Care Location: Bolton Shifts: Monday to Friday (Double Days Rotating) 6:00am – 2:00pm 2:00pm – 10:00pm 8am-16:00pm 16:00pm – 12:00pm The Company We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, blue-chip manufacturing business known for its investment in cutting-edge automation and operational excellence. The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of highly automated production lines. Working within a skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance activities to maximise equipment uptime and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on automated machinery Diagnose and repair faults on electrical and mechanical systems Respond promptly to breakdowns and minimise production downtime Maintain accurate maintenance and fault reporting records Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with health & safety standards at all times Requirements Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing or production environment Strong fault-finding skills (electrical and/or mechanical) Experience working with automated production lines Ability to work effectively within a shift-based team Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent) preferred Benefits Competitive salary of £48,000 6% employer pension contribution Private pension scheme Comprehensive health benefits Ongoing training and development opportunities Secure role within a leading blue-chip organisation Apply Now If you are a proactive Maintenance Engineer looking to join a forward-thinking business with excellent benefits and career prospects, we’d love to hear from you.
