Seasonal Forklift Drivers

Be Personnel has immediate opportunities available for Forklift Drivers to work with our client, a leading producer of high-quality fish in Lerwick, Shetland. Reporting to the Factory Manager key responsibilities will include: • Driving and operating forklift • Unloading Packaging materials from truck, updating stock systems. • Moving materials to warehouse storage • Ensuring Goods inwards documents are completed and filed correctly for every intake. • Receiving and processing warehouse stock products (unload, pick, label, & store). • Preparing and completing orders for delivery to Production according to schedule (pick, pack, wrap, label & load) • Keeping a clean and safe working environment and optimising space utilisation. • Following quality service standards and complying with procedures, rules and regulations set by the company. Skills desired include although are not limited to: • Good communication both verbal and written • Being confident in delivering effective communication to daily contacts • Taking ownership and accountability to achieve the required standards • Positive demeanour and can-do attitude • Forklift ticket required • Meeting deadlines by working with colleagues and teams across the business As a Forklift Driver you will benefit from: • A competitive standard starting rate of £15.00 per hour and overtime at £22.50 per hour • On-going agency contract with seasonal opportunities from the heigh of Summer (July/August) until Winter (approx. 6 months work) • Dayshift: 0700 – 1700 and Backshift/Nightshift will be from 1700 – 0300 with high amount of overtime expected in the heigh of the season • Weekly pay via agency • Supportive training • Substantial overtime opportunities • Relocation Support with travel to and from the Island paid (ferry) • Shared accommodation provided free of charge • Transportation option provided Apply today and one of our multilingual recruitment specialists will be in touch
