Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Data Centres / MEP Hybrid, North Kent £45/h - £60/h dependent on experience Duration 9-12 months Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Design / Building Services / MEP / Consultancy / Mechanical Design Engineer / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer This role is to join an established building services design consultancy, where you will be focused on the design of data centre projects. The people you will be working alongside are a friendly enthusiastic team of engineers with collaboration at centre of their culture. Responsibilities * Responsibilities will include involvement in the full cycle of projects from client briefs and planning, though to design and supervision and finally completion. * Carrying out the detailed mechanical services design and calculations. * Production/writing of mechanical specifications, schedules, reports and technical papers. * Attend a wide range of meetings from client, design team and site. Experience & Qualifications * Degree / HND / HNC in Mechanical Engineering, preferred although not essential * Design experience in mechanical building systems. * Previous data centre design experience is essential. * Confident user of industry standard software
