Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of electrical building services across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will be a key member of the MEP team — providing technical expertise, managing projects from concept through to completion, coordinating with internal disciplines and external consultants, and enhancing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead electrical building services design and specification on multidisciplinary projects.
* Manage projects through all design stages, ensuring timely delivery and technical excellence.
* Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants to integrate electrical systems.
* Mentor, guide and develop junior engineers and technicians.
* Maintain compliance with industry standards, regulations and best practice.
* Engage directly with clients, delivering professional electrical advice and building lasting relationships.
What We’re Looking For
* Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
* Proven consultancy experience in electrical design within the built environment.
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems (lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, data/communications).
* Excellent project management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Chartered status (e.g., CEng/CIBSE/IET) or working towards chartership is desirable.
