LNJ Recruitment is working with a well-established, specialist insurance brokerage to recruit a Commercial Account Handler. This business is known for delivering tailored insurance solutions across the agricultural and commercial sectors, combining deep industry knowledge with exceptional client service. The Role As an Account Handler, you’ll support Account Executives and take ownership of the day-to-day servicing of client insurance programmes. You’ll play a key role in ensuring clients receive responsive, accurate, and high-quality service throughout the lifecycle of their policies. Key Responsibilities Client Service & Relationships * Act as a main point of contact for clients, handling queries efficiently * Build strong relationships, particularly within farming and rural businesses * Provide clear, professional advice across policies, renewals, and adjustments Policy Administration * Process new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments * Prepare renewal documentation and support renewal cycles * Obtain and present insurer quotations * Maintain accurate records and issue policy documentation Insurer Liaison * Develop relationships with insurers and underwriters * Negotiate terms and secure competitive cover for clients Compliance & Admin * Ensure FCA and internal compliance standards are met * Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records * Support general office administration within a small team About You Essential: * Experience in commercial insurance broking or account handling * Strong organisational and administrative skills * Excellent communication and relationship-building ability * High attention to detail and accuracy Desirable: * Experience within agricultural or rural insurance * Knowledge of Acturis * Understanding of FCA compliance requirements What’s on Offer * Opportunity to join a respected specialist brokerage * Supportive, team-focused working environment * Ongoing professional development, including support towards CII qualifications * A varied and client-facing role with real responsibility Apply Now If you’re looking for a role where you can develop your insurance career in a supportive and specialist environment, we’d love to hear from you.
