Mechanical Fitter

Job Title: Experienced Mechanical Fitters – Mechanical Assembly Location: Wallsend PAYE Rate: £21.50/hour (rising to £23.50/hour after training) Hours: 42 hours/week We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a long-term project involving the assembly of Suspended Internal Platforms (SIPs). This is a mechanical assembly role and we are looking for strong assembly experience, previous use of bobtail techniques and the ability to read and work from engineering drawings. Requirements: • Proven experience in mechanical assembly/fitting • Relevant qualification in Mechanical Assembly or Mechanical Engineering • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings • Familiarity with Bobtail techniques • Able to work at height • Reliable and committed to completing project Pay & Progression: • Starting rate: £21.50/hour PAYE • After training : £23.50/hour PAYE • 42-hour working week How to Apply: If you're an experienced Mechanical Fitter with a background in mechanical assembly and are ready to commit to an ongoing project, email your CV and certificates
