History Teacher Nottingham May 2026 Full-time contract £140.00 - £250.00 per day (depending on experience) Are you a passionate and dedicated History Teacher looking for a new challenge in a supportive and thriving secondary school? We are a well-regarded school in Nottingham are currently seeking a History Teacher to join their team from May 2026. This role will involve teaching key stage 3 to key stage 4. Ideally you must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for this role. About the Role: Subject Specialism: You will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons in History. Potential for permanent contract: For a candidate who demonstrates exceptional skills and a genuine passion for teaching, there is a potential for this role to become permanent.What We're Looking For: Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is preferred, but we are open to considering strong candidates with significant teaching experience. Experience: You should have a solid background in teaching History. Experience in managing diverse classrooms and dealing with challenging behaviour is essential. Skills: Exceptional classroom management skills are a must. You should be confident, proactive, and enthusiastic about teaching, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
