Sales Support/Director to Director

Sales Director – Forklifts Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 + Car / Car Allowance + Commission. Forklift Trucks. With a global reach and a commitment to safety and sustainability, they provide tailored solutions to a diverse range of industries, including warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, and construction. Our client is seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Sales Director to lead their commercial team and drive growth across the UK and international markets. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Sales Director will be responsible for shaping the sales strategy, building strong customer relationships, and achieving ambitious revenue targets. Develops and implements a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with our client’s growth objectives. Leads, mentors, and motivates a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives and KPIs. Identifies and secures new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts. Builds and maintains strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and key industrial clients. Manages budgets, sales forecasts, and reporting to the executive team. Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the industrial equipment, material handling, or manufacturing sector. Strong knowledge of forklift trucks, warehouse equipment, or related products is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and manage large sales teams.
