Building Surveyor – Damp & Mould Specialist (North West) Long-Term Contract Opportunity with Leading Property Consultancy Excellent Rates of Pay Are you an experienced Building Surveyor with a strong track record in delivering damp and mould assessments? We are seeking skilled professionals to join a well-structured, long-term project across the North West, working with a highly regarded property consultancy. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a well-organised programme of work, with the potential for ongoing assignments beyond the initial contract. Key Responsibilities * Conduct detailed damp and mould surveys across residential properties * Diagnose causes of moisture ingress, condensation, and ventilation issues * Produce clear, concise, and actionable reports with recommended remedial works * Engage with stakeholders including landlords, tenants, and property managers * Ensure all work complies with current legislation, guidance, and best practice Requirements * Proven experience delivering damp and mould surveys in a residential setting * 12 - 18 Months relevant experience * Strong understanding of building pathology, moisture movement, and ventilation principles * Ability to manage workloads independently across a regional patch * Excellent report writing and communication skills Qualifications * Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline OR * HNC/HND in Building Surveying (or equivalent) with relevant experience * Membership of a professional body such as RICS or CIOB (desirable but not essential) What’s on Offer * Long-term contract with a respected and well-known consultancy * Structured and well-managed project environment * Opportunity for continued work beyond the initial programme * Competitive rates / rate per survey If you’re a proactive and knowledgeable surveyor looking for a stable pipeline of work within a professional and supportive framework, we’d like to hear from you.
