Commercial Sales Engineer

Job Title: Senior Sales Engineer Location: London (Hybrid, 2–3 days per week in office) Edison Smart are partnered with a market-leading SaaS platform, trusted by global enterprises to drive digital adoption, product engagement, and business growth. As part of their ongoing EMEA expansion, they are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join a high-performing Pre-Sales team. This is a high-priority hire reporting to the Senior Director of Sales Engineering, supporting 3 Account Executives across the UK, Ireland, Benelux, and Nordics. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in the sales cycle, acting as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers. You’ll collaborate closely with sales teams to design tailored solutions, run technical proof of value engagements, and deliver compelling product demonstrations to both business and technical stakeholders. This is an ideal role for someone who loves pre-sales, thrives in a customer-facing environment, and has a strong understanding of web technologies. Partner with Sales to guide enterprise customers through the technical sales process, from discovery to successful platform adoption. Confidently handle technical discussions on integrations, deployment, data privacy, and web architecture. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to remove deal blockers and shape future product enhancements. 3+ years of pre-sales / solutions engineering experience within SaaS or enterprise software. ~ Strong technical understanding of HTML & CSS ~ Fluency in French or German is strongly preferred. ~
