Job Title: Mechanical Fitter Location: Stourbridge Job Type: Permanent paying between £16.82 - £33.65 (including premium overtime rates) Shifts: Monday-Thursday 12:00-22:00 Overtime available Friday - Sunday Not a morning person? This one's for you. If you prefer a slower start to your day and like the idea of long weekends (every week), this role gives you exactly that. Work four solid afternoon shifts, then open up your Fridays and weekends for overtime - or keep them free, your call. No two days are the same. Diagnose faults and carry out planned and reactive maintenance Work on mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics and transmissions Get involved in fabrication, welding and machining repairs Keep on top of inspections, servicing and safety checks Play a part in improving performance across the siteWhat You'll Bring Solid background in mechanical fitting / heavy engineering Apprenticeship or HNC (or strong hands-on experience) Experience with industrial machinery or production equipment Skills in welding, fabrication, machining and fault finding Bonus points for Siemens S7 or CAM experience Click apply now to be considered for our Mechanical Fitter vacancy.
