Science teacher

Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Little Ilford. The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher with a passion for delivering engaging Science lessons and driving student achievement across KS3 and KS4. CONTRACT DETAILS Location Little Ilford, London Position Science Teacher Type of work KS3 & KS4 Science teaching Contract or position start date ASAP Duration / Likely Duration Ongoing Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) Temporary (with potential to become permanent) Full time/part time Full time Minimum rate of pay Competitive, depending on experience Hours 8:30am 3:30pm ROLE OVERVIEW Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with the curriculum Support student progress and attainment Maintain strong classroom management and behaviour standards Contribute to the wider school community where required EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) essential Experience teaching Science at secondary level Strong subject knowledge (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) Excellent classroom management skills Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one) OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please send your most up-to-date CV along with your expression of interest.
