Senior Client Accountant | Leeds City Centre (LS1) | Hybrid Working Ready to step out of practice or professional services and into a more commercial, client-facing role—without losing the technical depth you’ve built? This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified accountant from audit, practice, or broader professional services to transition into industry. You’ll join a high-performing finance team where your expertise will directly influence reporting, insight, and decision-making. You’ll work closely with the Head of Finance, delivering high-quality financial reporting while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. What You’ll Be Doing Owning the preparation and review of management accounts and balance sheets Leading month-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting Producing insightful monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packs Acting as a key contact for audits, handling queries with confidence Reviewing payment runs and approvals to ensure accuracy and control Delivering meaningful MI and financial analysis to support decision-making Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles Maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring compliance Supporting and mentoring junior team members About You ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified Background in audit, practice, or professional services (industry experience is a bonus, not essential) Strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent attention to detail Confident communicator who enjoys working with clients and stakeholders Advanced Excel skills Proactive, organised, and comfortable taking ownership What’s in It for You A genuine and supportive move from practice or professional services into industry Hybrid working for better work-life balance Prime Leeds city centre location (LS1) A broad, varied role with real ownership and visibility Clear opportunities for progression as you grow in the role Ongoing exposure to clients and senior stakeholders Bonus, Salary up to £55,000 plus 25 days holiday
