About the role

Apricus Resourcing are currently supporting a hiring company looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Deputy Housing Support Manager based in KT22 post code area of Leatherhead in Surrey This role is working full time with standard hours 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday 9am-5pm. Duties include: * -To support the HSM on site, deputising in her/his absence, to manage the team including staff supervision and appraisal of named staff and Resident Volunteers, ensuring they receive appropriate support, training and development. * -To support the HSM in ensuring the team provides high-quality housing and support services to the following client groups: young people, 16+ who sometimes display difficult or challenging behaviour, people with mental illness, learning disabilities or single vulnerable homeless people. * -To support and empower named clients by providing holistic one to one support to encourage their personal development, whilst effectively managing risk, and to assist them to achieve their individual goals and live as independently as possible. * -To support the HSM in ensuring the team carries out housing management activities such as rent collection, tenancy enforcement, reporting maintenance issues and health and safety checks as effectively as possible whilst ensuring a firm but empathetic approach to support clients to maintain their licence or tenancies. In return for your commitment, we are able to offer a very competitive salary of £31,000 per year.
