Class 2 Driver - Double Tacho Weekend ONLY

Class 2 Driver – Double Tacho Work Location: Wakefield Rate: £17ph for first 8 hours, £21ph after 8 hours Hours: Between 4am and 6am starts, average 16 hour shifts but can be less or more depending on traffic and the run. The shift pattern is Friday/Saturday and Sunday with the option to pick up additional shifts in the week if wanted. Contract: Ongoing work or 12 week temp to perm if wanted. We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver for double tacho work. This role is ideal for drivers who are flexible, reliable, and comfortable working in a two-man driving operation. Key Responsibilities: Driving a Class 2 vehicle as part of a double-manned crew Sharing driving duties in line with EU Drivers’ Hours regulations Ensuring accurate use of tachographs and compliance at all times Completing vehicle checks and defect reporting Safe, professional delivery of goods Maintaining high standards of customer service Requirements: Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Previous experience with double tacho work is preferred but not essential Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and working time regulations Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approach Good communication and teamwork skills What We Offer: Competitive rates of pay Ongoing work available Well-maintained vehicles Supportive transport team
