Benefits: Competitive salary up to £46,000 per annum, with additional overtime opportunities Comprehensive manufacturer-led training programmes to enhance technical skills Rotating shift pattern offering a healthy work-life balance – Monday 1pm-9pm, Tuesday 6am-2pm, Wednesday 1pm-9pm, Thursday 6am-2pm, Friday 1pm-9pm, Saturday 6am-2pm (midday if preferred) Overtime paid at enhanced rates for weekends and call-out work Supportive management committed to your ongoing professional growth Company pension scheme and additional employee benefitsDuties as an HGV Technician: Receiving and reviewing job cards assigned by the workshop controller Conducting routine maintenance and diagnosing repairs on large commercial vehicles Testing vehicles and system components using advanced diagnostic tools Examining vehicles for damage or faults; performing necessary repairs or replacements Relining, adjusting, and replacing brakes and other vital vehicle systems Servicing air conditioning, electrical, heating, and cooling systems Identifying faults, sourcing parts, and ensuring repair quality standards are met Conducting inspections and testing to evaluate vehicle safety and performanceRequirements: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in HGV repair, Vehicle Maintenance, or a related field Proven experience working within a commercial vehicle environment Strong technical knowledge, with problem-solving capabilities Proactive and adaptable team player with a 'can-do' attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills Leadership qualities and a customer-focused approachOur client is eager to hear from dedicated HGV Technicians, whether you are looking to specialise further or seeking a new challenge within a thriving team.
