Location: Brighton, East Sussex
Salary: £45,000 rising to £47,000 + Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday | No Nights or Weekends
Working Pattern: Hybrid | 3 Days On-Site
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Free eye tests every 2 yearsWhat Will You Actually Be Doing? As a PIP Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical knowledge and professional judgement to understand how physical and mental health conditions affect an individual's ability to manage everyday activities.
You'll:

Conduct structured telephone, video and face-to-face assessments
Explore how health conditions affect daily living, mobility and independence
Review clinical histories, medical evidence and supporting information
Use your clinical reasoning to ask relevant questions and understand functional limitations
Produce clear, accurate and evidence-based assessment reports
Work within a structured clinical environment with ongoing professional supportYou'll still be assessing, analysing and applying your clinical knowledge, just without the traditional demands of frontline clinical shifts.
Who Can Apply? We're looking for:

Registered Nurses: RGN, RMN or RNLD with active NMC registration
Physiotherapists with active HCPC registration
Occupational Therapists with active HCPC registration
Paramedics with active HCPC registration
Pharmacists with active GPhC registrationEssential Requirements:

Minimum 12 months' post-qualification clinical experience
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Confidence interpreting clinical information
Good written communication and report-writing skills
Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Office
Full Right to Work in the UK
Must live within 90 minutes of Brighton
Able to attend the assessment centre at least 3 days per weekPlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

You'll complete a comprehensive, inclusive training programme designed to help you transfer your existing clinical knowledge into the PIP assessment environment. You'll receive ongoing clinical oversight, feedback and professional support as you develop your assessment and report-writing skills.
