Job summaryRotational Clinical/Rotational Specialist Pharmacist - Hinchingbrooke & PeterboroughAre you looking for the next step in your pharmacy career? We have an opportunity to join our rotational pharmacist team on our band 6 and band 7 pathway. You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team in the hospital where you will be involved in the delivery of a variety of clinical and core services provided by the pharmacy department.The pharmacy department at North West Anglia Foundation Trust are keen to create an environment in which we are able to nurture and grow our own talent. With this objective in mind we have developed a progression programme which supports the progression of our Rotational band 6 pharmacists into band 7 posts. This is implemented through a structured competency programme which band 6 pharmacists can enrol on enabling their progression to Rotational band 7 without the need for additional recruitment process, if the requirements of the programme are met.You will be expected to participate in the in-house training and the competency assessment programme. The opportunity to study for the Post Graduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice and Non Medical Prescribing is also available to a successful candidate.Please state what grade and which site you are applying for.Main duties of the jobDuties will include a ward pharmacist role to an assigned ward, dispensary work, medicines information, aseptic services and provision of pharmaceutical services to external community sites, therefore the ability to drive within the locality is essential.You will be expected to participate in the in-house training and the competency assessment programme.
