Commissioning Engineer

Commissioning Engineer Salary: £35-40k per annum (inclusive of shift uplift) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Warrington, Cheshire Overview * We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Commissioning Engineer/ Site Engineer to deliver high-quality engineering support at customer sites. * This role is responsible for commissioning, maintaining, and optimising electro-mechanical equipment while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, safety compliance, and first-time fix performance. * The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical capability, a professional on-site presence, and a disciplined approach to processes and quality. Key Responsibilities * Commission and ensure equipment performance meets or exceeds customer expectations * Carry out corrective and preventative maintenance to OEM standards * Diagnose faults methodically and deliver effective first-time fixes * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation * Manage parts usage, stock control, and related documentation accurately * Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in safe, serviceable condition Skills, Qualifications & Experience * Mechanical or Electrical qualification (Degree, Diploma, or equivalent experience) * A good mixture of Mechanical and Electrical skills * Proven experience working with electro-mechanical equipment (e.g. packaging, automation etc) * Strong experience in a customer-facing engineering role Benefits * Company pension scheme * Private medical & dental & life insurance * Health & wellbeing programme * Additional leave entitlement Working Hours * Monday to Friday - Day shift - 10am-6pm
