Job Title: Void Operatives / Clearance Cleaners Location: Yeovil Pay: £13.80 per hour PAYE inc Holiday | £18 per hour LTD Umbrella Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent, Full-Time   About the Role Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Void Operative/Clearance Cleaner on behalf of a Housing Association client covering Yeovil. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity for individuals who are hands-on and take pride in preparing properties for new tenants. The successful candidates will be responsible for clearing, cleaning, and preparing empty properties (voids) to ensure they are ready for re-letting. This role plays an important part in helping the Housing Association deliver safe, clean, and welcoming homes for incoming residents. Key Responsibilities Carry out clearance of void properties, removing unwanted furniture, rubbish, and items left behind. Perform deep cleaning of empty properties, including kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and hallways. Support the Trades team with labouring duties and minor repairs Dispose of waste responsibly in line with company procedures and environmental guidelines. Identify and report any repairs, damages, or maintenance issues. Work alongside maintenance and housing teams to ensure properties are turned around efficiently. Delivery and collection of material to site  Use cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively. Follow all health and safety procedures when carrying out duties. What We are Looking For Previous experience in void cleaning, property clearance, minor repairs is desirable. Ability to undertake manual handling and physical work. Reliable, hardworking, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards. Awareness of health and safety practices when using cleaning materials and equipment. Flexibility to travel across Yeovil and surrounding areas as required, therefore being able to drive is essential.
