Data Governance Analyst/Consultant – ERP Transformation (Contract)

Location: Remote with Ad-hoc London visits (twice a month)

Duration: 6-12 months

Day Rate: £500-600 per day - OUTSIDE IR35

Lithium3 require a Data Governance Analyst to support data classification, mapping and governance delivery as part of a major ERP transformation programme. We need exceptional communication skills with stakeholders of all levels and someone who can thrive in a complex environment. You need to be flexible too.

This role will focus on collecting and consolidating data classification and mapping outputs across priority ERP domains, running gap analysis to ensure coverage, and maintaining governance artefacts aligned to business glossary and data dictionary standards. Working closely with Data Stewards, you’ll support governance workshops, structure outputs from stakeholder sessions, track data ownership alignment, and ensure documentation is complete and ready for stewardship validation.

Key responsibilities:

Collate and maintain data classification and mapping artefacts

Run gap analysis across priority ERP data domains

Support Data Stewards with governance sessions and outputs

Ensure alignment with glossary, data dictionary and governance standards

Track governance readiness for ERP migration and reporting

Ideal experience:

Data governance, data migration or ERP transformation exposure

Data classification, metadata or mapping experience

Strong documentation, coordination and stakeholder engagement skills

Experience working alongside Data Stewards or governance teams beneficial

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

Experience supporting data governance, data migration or ERP transformation programmes.

Strong data classification, mapping or metadata documentation experience.

Ability to perform structured gap analysis and track remediation.

Excellent documentation and organisational skills.

Strong stakeholder communication capability.

Desirable

Exposure to ERP transformation programmes.

Experience working alongside Data Stewards or governance SMEs.

Familiarity with data catalogs, governance tooling or metadata repositories.

Data quality or migration project experience.
