Job description: We are recruiting for a 3- 4 years PQE Contentious Probate Solicitor to join our client; a newly established practice, on a permanent basis from their Manchester office.

Varied duties to include:

• Managing a contentious probate caseload (training provided where you haven’t handled this directly)
• Handling matters from initial vetting through to trial to include advocacy
• Contesting the validity of Will’s
• Dealing with claims under the 1975 Inheritance (for Dependants) Act and maladministration
• Disputes over estate administration and Trusts
• Handling capacity challenges

Previous experience within contentious probate is not essential as they will train the right person, however previous litigation experience is essential.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Hours per Week: 35
