A great gateway into IT
TRS Staffing Solutions operates across a global workforce and uses a broad set of systems to support recruitment, operations, compliance and reporting. This role is ideal for a Computer Science graduate (or similar) who wants a practical start in IT, with exposure to systems administration, vendor management, reporting and project work across the business.
What you’ll get:
* A broad, hands-on role across multiple business systems (great foundation for an IT career)
* Real project exposure (UAT/testing, coordination, documentation, reporting)
* Daily interaction with internal stakeholders and external vendors — you’ll learn quickly and build confidence fast
Key responsibilities
You’ll support the smooth running of TRS systems and help keep projects and reporting moving:
* System housekeeping / admin tasks across multiple platforms (day-to-day operational support)
* Data cleansing & data quality checks to keep records accurate and usable
* Business reporting: prepare monthly reports and ad-hoc reporting as needed; basic analysis and checking
* Documentation: create and maintain supporting documentation / simple process guides for how we use systems
* Project support: project administration, coordinating actions, and supporting delivery activities
* User Acceptance Testing (UAT): execute test steps, capture outcomes, and document results clearly
* Vendor management: log, track and chase vendor tickets to resolution (own the follow-through)
* This role is varied — you’ll also help with other tasks as needed to support the business
What we’re looking for
Essential
* Degree in Computer Science (or closely related discipline) and genuine interest in starting a career in IT
* Strong written and spoken English (you’ll be writing documentation and communicating with vendors/users across the globe)
* Comfortable with Microsoft tools (Word/Excel) at a basic level and willing to learn quickly.
* Strong organisation skills — you can manage multiple small tasks, keep track of detail, and follow issues through.
Desirable
* Any exposure to: reporting, data work, testing/UAT, ticketing/service desk processes, or working with third-party suppliers
* A “get stuck in” attitude — you’re practical, curious, and you take ownership
