We are recruiting a Graduate Early Years Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school setting. This role focuses on working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children at a crucial stage of their development through play-based learning and carefully structured teaching. The school is highly supportive of ECTs, offering a comprehensive induction programme and ongoing mentoring.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Full-time position on a permanent contract – long-term temporary roles also available
- Competitive salary in line with MPS
- Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that supports children’s social, emotional, and academic development
- Use continuous provision and play-based learning to encourage exploration and independence
- Observe, assess, and track children’s progress in line with EYFS early learning goals September 2026 start available
Who We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS or an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
- A degree in Early Childhood Studies, Primary Education, or a related field
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early child development
- A warm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting young learners
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and families
