This is a rare opportunity to take on a senior operational role within an environment that is genuinely considered and well-regarded, both in the UK hospitality market and internationally.


The Food and Beverage Manager will lead the day-to-day performance of the hotel across both properties, encompassing front of house, housekeeping, spa and food and beverage. It's a hands-on leadership role with real responsibility for standards, team performance and the guest experience across every touchpoint.


The estate's identity is rooted in its land, its produce and the craftsmanship behind how it presents itself to guests. The right person will understand what that means in practice and will bring the operational rigour and personal presence to uphold it consistently.

Scope of Role:

  • Oversee daily F&B operations across two connected properties totalling 40 bedrooms, multiple dining spaces and a spa
  • Lead and develop heads of department across front of house, housekeeping, food and beverage and spa
  • Drive consistency in service standards and guest experience across both sites
  • Manage budgets, labour, forecasting and commercial performance
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding and ongoing team development
  • Monitor guest feedback and lead continuous improvement across operations
  • Ensure compliance, health and safety, and presentation standards are maintained throughout


The Ideal Profile:

  • Proven operational leadership experience within a luxury hotel, country house or estate environment
  • Comfortable managing multiple departments and working closely with heads of department
  • Commercially aware with experience across budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
  • Strong food and beverage knowledge and an appreciation for high-end dining operations
  • A grounded, hands-on leader who can hold standards without losing the warmth of the environment
  • Resilient and well-organised, with the ability to manage complexity across a busy, multi-outlet operation
  • Eligible to work in the United Kingdom and willing to relocate to Somerset
