Bench Joiner/Wood Machinist

Our client in Haslingden, Rossendale is looking to recruit a Bench Joiner/Wood Machinist for a temp to perm role out of their manufacturing and distribution site.

The role will involve: Following plans to make and fit seating units and other goods Setting and operating machines Using various hand tools Working in the wood shop and on jobs around the UK, installing products Quality checking finished goods The working times and pay: Monday to Friday 08:00
- 16:30 40 hours per week after breaks £13.50
- £14.50 per hour dependent on experience initially Pay increases with progression Overtime after 40 hours at x 1.25 in the week and x 1.5 at the weekends 12 week temp to perm for the right candidate.

Skills/Experience Needed: Previous woodwork/machinery experience Experience working with furniture manufacturing preferred UK Driving Licence, preferably clean is advantageous Must be willing to travel to sites around the UK, working hours will vary.
