In this role, you’ll:

Help students to become effective problem-solvers and build confidence

Bring clarity to challenging topics like algebra, geometry and statistics

What does the training look like?
The programme is structured to help you grow in confidence and ability:

4 days in school – gaining hands-on experience
-
1 day per week – PGCE study and professional development
-
Term 1: Observe experienced teachers and support lessons to learn the fundamentals

Term 2: Begin planning and delivering your own lessons
-
Term 3: Take on more responsibility and refine your teaching style
You’ll be supported throughout the process with a dedicated mentor, ongoing feedback and a structured training programme.
Who are we looking for?

Graduates with a Maths or related degree (2:1 or above preferred)

Strong A-Level Maths
-
Interest in working with young people
-
Confident communicators
No prior classroom experience is required – just commitment and enthusiasm.
