Your new company A well-established and growing independent accountancy firm based in Lancashire is seeking an experienced Audit Director (Responsible Individual) to support the continued development of its audit practice.

Your new role As Audit Director and Responsible Individual, you will take overall responsibility for the firm's audit function, playing a key role in client delivery, leadership and strategic growth.
You will work closely with the Partner group while retaining autonomy over the audit department.
Key responsibilities will include: Acting as Responsible Individual (RI) for statutory audits under UK regulation Leading, managing and developing a growing audit team Overseeing audit quality, methodology and compliance with ISAs and regulatory standards Managing a varied portfolio of audit clients, primarily SMEs and owner-managed businesses Supporting business development and identifying opportunities to grow the audit portfolio Maintaining strong client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser Contributing to the firm's wider strategic and operational objectives What you'll need to succeed ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) Audit Responsible Individual (RI) status is essential.
