Mechanical Supervisor – Boiler Replacement Location: Central Birmingham Duration: 12 Weeks Type: Freelance / Contract Start: ASAP Rate: £300 per day The Role We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee a 12-week commercial project in Central Birmingham. The project involves the replacement of end-of-life commercial boilers, including the removal of existing equipment and installation of new boilers and associated mechanical services. Key Responsibilities Supervise mechanical installation works and site operatives. Oversee the removal and installation of commercial boiler systems. Coordinate mechanical subcontractors and engineers. Manage pipework, pumps, valves and associated heating services. Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard. Review and implement RAMS and maintain site safety standards. Liaise with the Project Manager, client and other site teams. Assist with testing, commissioning and final handover.Requirements Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Foreman. Strong commercial experience with boiler replacement and heating systems. Experience working within plant rooms / commercial buildings. Good knowledge of mechanical services and associated pipework. SSSTS / SMSTS. CSCS.
