Data Engineer Location: Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 (Permanent) Clearance: DV Cleared (Essential) On-site 4–5 days per week, flexible hours We’re partnering with a leading technology-driven organisation in Herefordshire seeking 7 Data Engineers to join a growing data and analytics team. Design, build and maintain reliable data pipelines and APIs to support business intelligence, analytics, and application integrations. Collaborate with analysts, software engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Work with structured and unstructured data sources, ensuring quality, integrity, and availability of data. Contribute to the development of data models and data architecture best practices. Implement and optimise ETL processes using Python and modern frameworks. Maintain clear and reusable codebases across Python and TypeScript environments. Support data governance, security, and compliance processes across all data workflows. Active DV (Developed Vetting) Security Clearance Strong proficiency in Python and API development Experience or strong interest in data engineering, data pipelines, and automation Solid understanding of TypeScript / JavaScript and back-end integration principles Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data transformation techniques Background in Data Analysis or Full Stack Engineering Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, or containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) Flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle Opportunity to grow into senior data roles within a secure and fast-evolving environment On-site: 4–5 days per week (flexible hours) Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 per annum (Permanent)
