The Role

As an English ECT, you will:

  • Teach engaging English Language & Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available for strong candidates)

  • Deliver lessons that build analytical thinking, literacy, and exam confidence

  • Support students in achieving strong outcomes in GCSE English

  • Use high-quality schemes of work and resources to deliver consistent, impactful lessons

  • Receive regular coaching, observations, and developmental feedback

  • A degree in English or related subject with QTS (or on track)

  • A genuine passion for literacy, reading, and student development
