Teaching Assistant- Children and Young People

Location - Camden, North-West London Start date - November 2025 until July 2026 Full-time basis (Monday-Friday) Pay rate - £89 - £115 per day We're looking for a kind, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly Primary school in Camden. This rewarding role involves supporting children with special educational needs both in the classroom and with aspects of personal care, so a caring and patient nature is essential. You will be working with children within the schools on-site Nursery, so previous experience working within EYFS is very desirable. The school is well-connected by public transport and has a supportive, welcoming team. What you'll be doing Supporting children with SEN so they can access learning and feel confident at school. Providing personal care when needed (e.g. toileting, feeding, or mobility support). Working closely with the class teacher to adapt activities and resources to suit individual needs. Encouraging independence, social skills, and self-esteem. Building trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families. What we're looking for Experience supporting children with SEN school-based or in a similar care role. A patient, empathetic, and reliable approach to both learning support and personal care.
