Yard Marshall / Banksman Transport Company | MondayFriday | 12:00 19:30 £13.10 per hour We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Yard Marshall / Banksman to join our busy transport operation.

This is a key role within the yard, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles, trailers, and staff.

The Role: Marshalling and directing HGVs and other vehicles safely within the yard Acting as a banksman for reversing and manoeuvring vehicles Ensuring all movements are carried out in line with health & safety procedures Communicating clearly with drivers and the traffic office Monitoring yard activity and reporting any issues or damages Keeping the yard organised, safe, and running smoothly What Were Looking For: Previous experience as a Yard Marshall, Banksman, or similar role (preferred but not essential) Counter Balance Forklift License (expired or in-house license is fine but must have proof) Good awareness of health & safety in a transport environment Confident communicating with drivers and colleagues Ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced yard High level of attention to detail and safety Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Applicant MUST have their own transport as we are rural and not on a public transport route Hours & Pay: Monday to Friday xwzovoh 12:00 19:30 £13.10 per hour 1 Saturday per month 8am-12pm What We Offer: Stable, full-time, weekly paid Friendly and supportive team environment Opportunity to be part of a busy and growing transport operation If youre someone who takes safety seriously and enjoys being at the heart of a busy yard, wed love to hear from you.
