HGV Class 1 Port Shunter Driver

Our client operates within theport logistics sector, supporting container movements across the South. They are now looking forreliable and flexible driverswho are confident working in a fast-paced port environment.

£14.00 £15.50+ per hour (PAYE)

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
Guaranteed 10 hours pay per shift
Flexible working shifts built around YOU
Day shifts (06:00 18:00) and night shifts (18:00 06:00) available
Enhanced rates on weekends and bank holidays

What do we need from you?

Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous commercial driving experience
Ideally container or port experience (not essential)

DP World card advantageous
Maximum 6 points (no INs or DRs, due to insurance)

Positive, can-do attitude
Reliability and flexibility

Duties will include:

Shunting containers around the port using tug units
Supporting a busy container operation safely and efficiently
Following all site and port safety procedures
