Temporary Laboratory Technician 📍 Wem, Shropshire 💷 £12.71 per hour 🕒 Full-time | Temporary (minimum 1 month, likely to be extended) A well‑established diagnostics laboratory is seeking a Temporary Laboratory Technician to support routine microbiological testing during a busy period. This is a hands-on role carrying out daily laboratory testing of samples in line with SOPs and quality standards. Ideal for candidates with practical lab experience who are looking for short-term work with the potential for extension. Key requirements: At least 1 year of experience conducting routine laboratory testing in industry Comfortable with sample handling, aseptic techniques/routine testing and following SOPs Background in microbiology, food, environmental or veterinary testing preferred Must be able to drive - site is not accessible by public transport Available to start at short noticeWorking pattern: Monday-Friday (some weekend availability may be required) Full-time hoursThis role suits a Lab Technician, Laboratory Assistant or QC Technician looking for temporary laboratory work in a regulated testing environment.
