Removals Estimator (Hybrid)

We’re working with an established business in the removals sector that is looking to recruit a Removals Estimator for a hybrid role covering Greater Manchester. The position will involve surveying customers, assessing move requirements and preparing accurate quotations, with a mix of customer visits and home-based working.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting surveys for residential removals customers.
• Assessing volumes, access requirements and any specific removals requirements.
• Preparing accurate quotations based on the survey information gathered.
• Following up enquiries and discussing quotations with customers.
• Advising customers on suitable moving services based on their requirements.
• Liaising with the operations team to ensure survey information is accurate before each move.
• Keeping customer and survey information up to date throughout the sales process.

To succeed in this role you'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a removals estimator, moving consultant or similar within the removals industry.
• Good knowledge of household removals and the surveying process.
• Experience preparing quotations and converting customer enquiries.
• Confidence dealing with customers both in person and over the phone.
• Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage your own appointments and workload across Greater Manchester. xwzovoh
