We are currently recruiting Specialist Teaching Assistants to work within specialist provisions across the Burnley area. You will be supporting both primary and secondary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access education, develop independence and reach their full potential.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Support primary and secondary-aged pupils within specialist education settings.
• Assist pupils with learning, communication, social and emotional development.
• Support pupils with a range of SEND and additional needs.
• Build positive, trusting relationships and act as a positive role model.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and tailored learning plans.
• Support pupils to manage their emotions and overcome barriers to learning.
