Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Fire Risk Assessor to carry out Type 1 Fire Risk Assessments (common areas only) across low-rise social housing properties in Sheffield. The role involves conducting site visits and producing detailed assessment reports, which can be completed either remotely or from the office at Manor Lane Depot.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct Type 1 Fire Risk Assessments in accordance with current legislation and guidance
* Inspect common areas within low-rise residential buildings
* Identify fire hazards and assess levels of risk
* Provide clear, practical recommendations for risk reduction
* Complete accurate and compliant fire risk assessment reports
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience carrying out fire risk assessments within a social housing environment
* Proven experience conducting Type 1 (common parts) Fire Risk Assessments xwzovoh
* Relevant Fire Risk Assessment qualification
* Registered on a recognised Fire Risk Assessors Register (minimum Intermediate level; Advanced preferred)
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

* Standard Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check – must be clear prior to start
