Siamo Recruitment are working with an established wood distributor based in Cirencester. Theyre seeking a talented individual to join their dedicated team as a Production Operative.

As a Production/Sawmill Operative., you will work collaboratively to ensure the manufacturing process runs smoothly and exceeds customer satisfaction.
Training will be provided, however experience within a production team is advantageous. This is a great opportunity to gain an understanding of the production and distribution industry.
This is an exciting chance to work in a fast-paced environment with a team that cares about their product and become a specialist within the role.
Due to the location, you must have a Valid UK Driving Licence
A brief overview of the role:

• Location - Cirencester (South Cerney)
• £12.85 per hour
• Monday Thursday 07:00am 18:00pm & Friday 07:00am 16:00pm
• Free onsite parking
• Pension

• PPE Provided initially

Your role as the Production/Sawmill Operative will involve the following duties:

• Quality checking all goods throughout and post manufacture
• Loading raw materials into the production process and potentially lifting/stacking finished pallets.
• Running safety checks on machinery
• Machine operating safety and efficiently
• Preparing products for dispatch -and loading pallets for delivery
• Liaising with supervisors with any issues. xwzovoh
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Supporting team members regularly
• General yard duties.

The ideal candidate for the Production/Sawmill Operative Position will have:

• Production operative experience is advantageous
• Previous experience working shift patterns is advantageous
• Quality control experience is essential
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Good attentiveness and a keen eye for detail
• Full UK Driving License and own transport
• Physically able to lift up to 20kg regularly
