Gas Engineer – Temp to Perm Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for Gas Engineers to join a well-established organisation within the property maintenance/social housing sector. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term stability for the right candidates.

The Role:

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality gas servicing, repairs, and installations across residential properties, ensuring compliance with Gas Safe regulations and delivering excellent customer service.

Location: Bracknell

Contract: Temporary (12 weeks) → Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

Pay Rate: £21.19 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out gas servicing, repairs, and installations
• Diagnose faults and aim for first-time fixes
• Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
• Maintain accurate records using electronic systems
• Participate in out-of-hours emergency call rota (if required)

Requirements:

• Valid ACS qualifications (CCN1, CEN1, HTR1, CKR1)
• City & Guilds Level 3 in Domestic Heating (or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of gas systems and building regulations

• Good IT and customer service skills
