The successful candidate will work closely with pupils who have severe learning difficulties and physical disabilities, ensuring they receive tailored support to thrive academically and socially. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping pupils with learning difficulties achieve their potential. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to: Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with PMLD/SEN, assisting with mobility, communication, and personal care where needed. Support the teacher in adapting lessons and resources to meet individual needs. Monitor progress and provide feedback to the teaching team. Promote a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment. The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will: Have experience working with SEN/PMLD (preferred). Possess the Right to Work in the UK. Have an Enhanced Child DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for a new one). Demonstrate patience, adaptability, and resilience when supporting pupils with complex needs.
