HSE Coordinator

We’re looking for a proactive HSE Coordinator to lead and strengthen Health, Safety & Environmental performance, while also supporting process improvements across manufacturing. This is a dual-role position combining HSE leadership with hands-on process engineering. What You Get * A salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience * Company pension * Private medical & dental insurance * Life insurance * Cycle to work scheme * Health & wellbeing programme * Free on-site parking * Company events * Sick pay About You * NEBOSH qualification is essential along with strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation * It’s helpful if you have ISO auditing experience (9001, 14001, 45001) * You should have a strong background in manufacturing – Textiles, Chemicals or Paper would be ideal About The Role * You will act as the site HSE expert, driving a strong safety culture with secondary responsibilities in process engineering * Manage and maintain ISO systems (9001, 14001, 45001) * Lead internal and external audits * Implement and support global HSE and quality initiatives * Monitor and report HSE performance * Oversee waste, energy use, and environmental compliance * Review and update H&S policies and procedures * Deliver training and promote safe working practices * Provide guidance and support across the site, including fire safety * Support daily manufacturing operations with clear process documentation * Assist with new product development alongside R&D * Help implement and monitor new or critical processes * Drive continuous improvement in product quality and efficiency If you’re ready to take ownership of HSE while contributing to operational excellence, we’d love to hear from you
