Pertemps South Midlands Driving Hub is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for ongoing work based in Corby.

This is curtain-sided trailer work with a night start time of 18:00. Drivers must attend a site induction on their first day and arrive 30 minutes before shift start.

You'll be completing a mixture of RDC deliveries and collections across regional and national distribution networks, working with well-established logistics and distribution operations.

The Role
This role involves transporting palletised freight between RDCs, warehouses and customer locations. Drivers will be responsible for ensuring all loads are safely secured before departure and delivered safely and professionally.

Drivers should be confident working with curtain-sided trailers and using straps to secure loads in line with company and legal requirements.

Duties
HGV Class 1 curtain-sided trailer work
RDC deliveries and collections
Load securing using straps
Vehicle checks and defect reporting
Completing delivery paperwork
Maintaining excellent driving and safety standardsRequirements
✅ Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
✅ Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience
✅ CPC Qualification Card
✅ Digital Tachograph Card
✅ Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
