The School
A well-regarded primary school in the Brixton/Herne Hill area is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

The Role
The successful Primary Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, supporting pupils through end of KS1 assessments in a balanced and engaging way.
You will be part of a well-supported team with parallel classes and experienced teaching assistants.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
Supporting phonics, reading, writing and maths development
Monitoring progress and adapting teaching
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and presentation
Working collaboratively with the KS1 team
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who:
Holds QTS with recent UK primary experience
Has strong KS1 and phonics knowledge
Demonstrates effective classroom management
Is organised, proactive and reflective
