Cambridgeshire County Council is recruiting experienced Children's Social Workers to join their Family Support and Safeguarding Team across Cambridge, Huntingdon, Ely, and Wisbech.

This is an excellent opportunity for Social Workers with experience in Safeguarding, CIN, CP, Children & Families, or Assessment Teams, offering strong career progression, flexible working, and excellent long-term benefits.

• Huntingdon - PE29 3AD
• Wisbech - PE13 2JD
• Cambridge City - CB2 9NL
• East Cambridgeshire (Ely) - CB7 4EX

Hybrid working available with office, home working, and statutory visits.

Flexible options include:

• Compressed hours (5 days in 4)

You will:

• Manage safeguarding and child protection caseloads
• Complete assessments and care planning
• Work with CIN, CP, and pre-proceedings cases
• Prepare reports for court and conferences
• Build strong relationships with children and families
• Work within the Family Safeguarding Model
• Ensure the child's voice is central to all decisions

Essential Requirements

• Social Work Qualification (Degree / MA / PGDip)
• Social Work England Registration
• Safeguarding / Children & Families experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
