About the role
SEN 1:1 TEACHING ASSISTANT – FULL-TIME | SEPTEMBER START | BH7
We are looking for a caring, committed, and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our lovely mainstream primary schools in the BH7 area this September.
This full-time role involves providing dedicated 1:1 support for a wonderful Year 2 child, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and enjoy a positive and successful school experience.

⏰ Monday to Friday, Full-Time
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
✨ Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 basis
✨ A patient, nurturing, and positive approach
✨ The ability to build a strong and trusting relationship with a child
✨ A genuine commitment to being in the role consistently and making a real difference throughout the school year
✨ A willingness to fully engage with our vetting and compliance process, including providing references and required documentation promptly
This role would suit someone who understands the importance of consistency for children with additional needs and is looking for a rewarding opportunity where they can have a lasting impact every single day.
We're looking for someone who is not only committed to the child they'll be supporting, but also committed to the journey of securing the role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
