Ryder Reid Legal is seeking a bright and ambitious Real Estate Paralegal to join a prestigious US law firm on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree and 6-12 months' legal work experience to gain exposure to high-quality real estate and real estate finance transactions.
Working within a small team you will play a key role supporting lawyers on a broad range of property matters, including due diligence, Land Registry searches, lease reviews, transaction management, real estate finance transactions, and completion processes.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting real estate due diligence and title investigationsReviewing and abstracting leasesUndertaking Land Registry and other property-related searchesPreparing due diligence reports, lease summaries, and transaction documentsManaging data rooms and transaction trackersSupporting property acquisitions, disposals, and real estate finance transactionsAssisting with transaction closings and completion processesLiaising with clients, lenders, agents, and external counselSupporting KYC, AML, and compliance requirements
About You
Minimum 2:1 degree and 6-12 months' relevant work experiencePrevious exposure to real estate and/or real estate finance mattersKnowledge of Land Registry processes and title documentationHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlinesProfessional, enthusiastic, and proactive approachStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a close-knit teamComfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
